Avionics upgrades, managed for the owner

From our US base in Jefferson, Georgia, Quest Air manages avionics, connectivity and cabin upgrade projects for business jet owners and operators. We act as the owner’s project manager and representative: the work itself is carried out by approved avionics shops and partners, and Quest Air plans, coordinates and oversees it from first quote to acceptance.

What we manage

  • Connectivity and Wi-Fi: cabin connectivity projects such as Starlink and Ka-band systems.

  • Avionics mandates and upgrades: for example ADS-B, FANS/CPDLC and SATCOM.

  • Cabin management systems: upgrades and replacements of cabin management and in-flight entertainment systems.

Owner’s oversight, from quote to acceptance

  • Vendor selection: shortlisting approved avionics shops and partners for the aircraft type and scope.

  • Quotes: requesting, comparing and clarifying quotes so the owner can decide on a like-for-like basis.

  • Downtime planning: scheduling the work around the flying programme, with positioning flights to and from the shop if needed.

  • Project oversight: a single point of contact with the shop during the work, tracking scope, schedule and changes.

  • Acceptance: an operator’s-eye review of the completed work, test results and documentation before the aircraft returns to service.

Why Quest Air

  • A pilot’s view of the flight deck. Upgrades are overseen by a corporate captain on the G700 and Global 7500/8000 who uses these systems on the line.

  • Based in Jefferson, Georgia. Our US base supports projects with US avionics shops and partners.

  • Independent of the shop. We work for the owner, not the installer.

Note

Quest Air is not a repair station and does not hold maintenance or installation approvals. All avionics work, installation and certification is performed and signed off by appropriately approved avionics shops and partners.
